Top 3 this week
Here are our 3 favourite events happening this week

Remembrance Day Ceremonies
Date: Tue Nov 11
Location: Cenotaphs & Legions across Grey & Bruce
Grey–Bruce honours our veterans with parades, wreath-laying, and moments of silence from Tobermory to Mildmay. Pick the cenotaph closest to you, bundle up, and join your neighbours for a powerful pause of gratitude.
Check out our community calendar for the times of every ceremony we could find in Grey/Bruce.
Adult Roller Skate Night
Date: Sat Nov 15, 7 PM – 10 PM
Location: Neustadt Arena, Neustadt
Channel your inner ’80s kid, lace up some quads, and spin under the disco lights. The arena pumps classic hits, beginners are welcome, and rentals are on site. Perfect for date night or a pals-only outing.
Elf on a Shelf Hunt
Date: Mon Nov 17 (launches, runs all week)
Location: Shops throughout Grey Highlands
Holiday in the Highlands kicks off with a town-wide elf hide-and-seek! Grab a passport, track down mischievous elves tucked into storefront displays, collect stamps, and swap them for prizes (and bragging rights). A festive way to discover new local businesses.

Community Calendar
Our Community Calendar covers Grey & Bruce Counties. It’s a large area, so if we missed an event we are sorry, we will do better next time!

Our Community Calendar was getting a bit too enthusiastic. Turns out stuffing a week’s worth of local fun into one email makes for a very long scroll.
So we’ve given it its own space! Click the button below to check out the full lineup of events this week.
Foodie Flash
Justin’s Oven — Kimberley

A tiny, wood-clad eatery that punches way above its 30 seats. Watch the flames lick your pizza crusts while the kitchen pulls double-duty on smoky brisket sammies, bison burgers piled high, and vegan grain bowls bright with garden herbs.
Come back Saturday morning for cinnamon-sugar cruffins and a brunch menu that rotates with whatever the farmers dropped off at dawn. Most of what hits your plate is organic, all of it is local, and the Beaver Valley cider taps keep things lively long after sunset.
Show up for Pizza Friday, stay for the village-square chatter, and leave knowing you just stole a taste of Kimberley’s best-kept secret.
Hidden Gem of the week
Saugeen Artists Guild Christmas Store — Walkerton

Skip the big-box bustle and wander this pop-up gallery packed with one-of-a-kind ornaments, pottery, paintings, and cozy knitwear. All handmade by Grey-Bruce creatives.
Open now until Dec 23 inside a vintage storefront on Jackson Street, the not-for-profit co-op turns every purchase into direct support for local artists.
Drop by Wednesday-Saturday (10 AM-5 PM) or Sunday (11 AM-4 PM), sip the complimentary hot cider, and score gifts you won’t see anywhere else.
