Community Calendar
Our Community Calendar covers Grey & Bruce Counties. It’s a large area, so if we missed an event we are sorry, we will do better next time!

Our Community Calendar was getting a bit too enthusiastic. Turns out stuffing a week’s worth of local fun into one email makes for a very long scroll.
So we’ve given it its own space! Click the button below to check out the full lineup of events this week.
Foodie Flash
West 81 Food Co. (Point Clark)

If you blink while driving down Lake Range Drive, you’ll miss it—and that would be a mistake. Tucked away in a quiet spot in Point Clark, West 81 Food Co. is the kind of place that locals whisper about to keep it for themselves.
Don’t let the unassuming exterior or the cottage-country location fool you; inside, Chef Rick is plating dishes that rival the city’s best. It’s "fine-casual" dining at its peak—think white tablecloth quality without the stuffy attitude.
The Vibe: Intimate, cozy, and exclusive (reservations are a must due to limited seating). It feels like stumbling upon a secret dinner club.
What to Order: The Wagyu Burger is legendary, but if you want to treat yourself, the Filet Mignon or the Salmon are consistently incredible.
Good to Know: They are currently open Thursday to Saturday evenings. It’s the perfect spot for a holiday date night or a "treat yourself" dinner to escape the cold.
Hidden Gem of the week
Feversham Gorge

If you are looking for a winter walk that feels like stepping into a prehistoric freezer, skip the crowds at the big waterfalls and head to the Feversham Gorge.
While it’s a lovely hike in the summer, winter is when this place truly shows off. The deep limestone walls of the gorge weep water from natural springs, creating massive, spectacular ice curtains and frozen formations that hang over the Beaver River.
The Hike: It’s a short loop (about 1.5km), so you get a high reward without needing an all-day expedition.
The Vibe: Quiet, dramatic, and starkly beautiful. It feels miles away from civilization despite being just off the road.
Pro Tip: The parking lot is often unplowed in winter you may have to park carefully on the roadside. Also, because of the ice, the trails can be very slippery, cleats or crampons are highly recommended.
