Top 3 this week
Here are our 3 favourite events happening this week

Pub Nights at Westlinks
When: Wednesday, Jan 21 @ 4:30 PM - 8 PM Where: The Club at Westlinks
Port Elgin Break up the work week with a cozy night out at "The Silo." Westlinks is keeping the winter blues away with their bi-weekly Pub Nights. This Wednesday, they are serving up a Deconstructed Chicken Souvlaki Dinner alongside their regular pub menu. It’s good food, great company, and no dishes to wash.
Saturday Meat Draw
When: Saturday, Jan 24 @ 3 PM - 5 PM Where: Royal Canadian Legion Branch 183, Kincardine
The Kincardine Legion Meat Draw is the unofficial social club of Saturday afternoon. It’s simple: buy a ticket, drink a cheap beer, and cross your fingers that you win a roast or a stack of steaks for Sunday dinner. It’s a great way to support the Legion and fill your freezer at the same time.
SweetStrings Free Community Concert
When: Sunday, Jan 25 @ 3 PM Where: Meaford United Church, Meaford
End your weekend on a high note (literally). The SweetStrings ensemble, a mix of talented locals and pro mentors, is putting on a free show featuring everything from Baroque classics to The Beatles. It’s warm, community-focused, and completely free (though donations are appreciated!).

Community Calendar
Our Community Calendar covers Grey & Bruce Counties. It’s a large area, so if we missed an event we are sorry, we will do better next time!

Our Community Calendar was getting a bit too enthusiastic. Turns out stuffing a week’s worth of local fun into one email makes for a very long scroll.
So we’ve given it its own space! Click the button below to check out the full lineup of events this week.
Foodie Flash
The Old Garage Wood Fired Pizza - Walkerton

Fill up on something way better than gas this week.
Located in a converted retro service station just outside Walkerton, The Old Garage serves up some of the best wood-fired pies in the county. It’s packed with vintage memorabilia and nostalgic vibes, but the real draw is the pizza. Their crust is thin, crispy, and blistered to perfection.
The Must-Try: You can't beat the classics here, grab a Meaty Lovers or a BBQ Chicken Ranch. It’s the perfect Friday night takeout.
Hidden Gem of the week
Weaver's Creek Falls - Owen Sound

Want the frozen waterfall views without the Inglis Falls crowds?
Head to the south end of Harrison Park and look for the boardwalk trail. It winds through a quiet, snowy forest along the creek, leading you straight to this stunning, intimate waterfall.
In the winter, the falls freeze into a spectacular ice sculpture that feels miles away from the city.
Hot Tip: The boardwalk can be slick in January, so wear boots with good grip!
